Idniainfoline.com, July 22, 2009
F.A.Q. has been developed with accredited scientists and marks POGO’s tenth live action show, made in India for India. Baffling scientific principles turn into fun-filled visual treats for young inquisitive minds as POGO presents its latest original production, F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions). Featuring the whacky and energetic talent of Prateek Sethi, F.A.Q. will encourage kids to question and learn the process of exploration and discovery via experiments and cool trivia. Created for kids aged 9-13 years, F.A.Q. has been developed with accredited scientists and marks POGO’s tenth live action show, made in India for India. F.A.Q. airs every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. on POGO.
Speaking on this one-of-a-kind show, Krishna Desai, Director Programming, South Asia, Turner International India, said, “Making learning fun for kids is something we strongly believe in. POGO, a leading kids’ channel in India, is a destination for young minds who dream bigger, think louder, play smarter and bounce higher. In the past, we have launched many other successful edutaining shows such as M.A.D, Galli Galli Sim Sim and Tiny TV. F.A.Q. is by far the most challenging show, as we aim to re-introduce science as an engaging, fun and exciting subject.”
F.A.Q.’s dynamic host and the new face on POGO, Prateek Sethi along with his robot assistant ‘Crash’ enjoy an electric on-screen chemistry and are sure to energize Sunday mornings across Indian households.
Prateek Sethi said, “This is my first association with POGO and I have enjoyed every moment of bringing F.A.Q. to life. As a self-professed science enthusiast, I have a natural curiosity about the world around us. I am positive that viewers of all ages will enjoy the journey as we discover something amazing and new in every F.A.Q. episode.”
In each thematic episode, F.A.Q. will demystify the principles of air, water, gas and pressure, and heat and temperature. With no unimaginative textbooks, no homework and no exams the show aims to stimulate young minds to discover science experientially, encouraging children to realize the mechanics of the physical, biological and chemical world around them.
Each F.A.Q. episode begins and ends with some tricks that quiz the mind and go onto explore everyday phenomenon. Assisting Prateek in this endeavour is his robot pal Crash, a non-talking character who expresses himself through his actions, adding lots of laughs to the show. During this journey of scientific discovery, kids are invited to interact with Prateek and Crash by answering questions.
For kids looking to continue the F.A.Q. fun in between episodes, an interactive micro-site on www.pogo.tv is the ideal place where kids can send questions to Prateek, look up DIY experiments, games, videos and a ‘Did You Know’ section with fascinating trivia.
F.A.Q. is supported by a multi-city school contact programme reaching out to over 900,000 kids and is co- sponsored by Perfetti Mentos and Parle G. In addition, look out for the cool experiment with Mattel’s ‘Hot Wheels Colour Shifters’ in the show.

Event coverage included all the major news channels and a few well established art critics and connoisseurs.
Helped initiate the Wall Project, one of India’s youth movements, first Mumbai, soon in other cities too. A humble project that started out with a few enthusiastic people, is growing to be a bigger, better project. The wall project started with a blank white compund wall, with an intense burning of “something has to be done to it”. Set in an old East Indian village in Bandra, colourful with people of many talents, all hidden in their tiny abodes. It was an initiative to add visual elements of colour, form and texture to a space, to make the area more alive and generate a feeling among people who pass by it daily. Inviting more people, not just artists to come paint, and to hunt for interesting locations to paint. canvas the city!!!
